The incident happened yesterday, at the mobile market, popularly known as Kabwandire, in Mgubudu area of Chipangali.

Eastern Province Police Commissioner, Luckson Sakala said the confusion started after some traders from Chipata decided to remove some Malawians who were trading in Mgubudu area of chieftainess MKanda’s area.

Mr Sakala said the confusion ensued when Malawian traders went against the trade agreement that they made with their Zambian counterparts.
