Nsansa Ward Councillor  Benson Bwalya has expressed gratitude toward the residents of his ward during his tenure in office.

Mr Bwalya said that it was a privilege to have worked for and served the residents of Nsansa and commended them for the corporation he was accorded.

“The residents of Nsansa ward had confidence in me, and I’m grateful for the unity and love that was rendered from 2016 to date, and am hoping that even this year, I get adopted as area councilor so that the works I embarked on are fully completed ” he said

Mr Bwalya said that he is hopeful that the ruling Patriotic Front under President Edgar Lungu will be given another term or two to carry on governing the citizens of Zambia.

He also commended residents that took part in maintaining the cleanliness in the ward as they played a huge role in ensuring that water borne diseases such as cholera are not experienced.

“I hope that we maintain the unity and peace that I was enjoyed while I served as councilor, it is important that the same unity prevails in the forthcoming elections so that violence is not experienced,” he said

Mr Bwalya appealed to residents in his ward and the district to always remember to ensure that unity triumphs no matter the situation.
