Super Division Champions Zesco United has strengthened their squad with the signing of midfielder Edward Lungu from Kitwe United.
The Ndola giants announced the capture of Lungu in a statement issued by club media and public relations officer Desmond Katongo.
Lungu has penned a three-year contract with the Super Division champions.
“The club is delighted to announce the signing of talented winger, Lungu,” read the statement.
Club Technical Chairman Peter Mutale has expressed delight with the club’s decision to sign Lungu.
“We are very happy to have secured Lungu’s signature. He is one of the hottest talents on the market. We are positive he will make a good impact at the club. He will also have a good chance to grow at the club especially that we are also participating in the CAF Champions League.” he said.
Lungu becomes coach Mumamba Numba’s first signing ahead of the new season.
