Zesco has shut down its National Call Centre (NCC) to facilitate fumigation and disinfection of the centre.
This means Zesco will this evening August 13, 2020 not make voicecalls to the centre.
In a bulk Short Message System (SMS) sent at 19:00 hrs to its registered customers Zesco said the closure was temporal.
“ZESCO would like to advise it’s customers that the National Call Centre will not be accessible for voice calls from 21hrs on Thursday 13 Aug 2020 to 08hrs on Friday 14 Aug 2020 to allow for the spraying of offices.
“Customers will still be able to register complaints by using other platforms such as the ZESCO Mobile App,SMS service 3600,Email via email@example.com and the USSD code by dialing *3600#,” the message read.
