Zambian Empowerment Hub for Entrepreneurship and Skills Training (ZEHEST) has urged Government to prioritize and increase funding to Skills Development in the country.
ZAHEST Executive Director Clarence Muzyamba also congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema over his desire for enhanced skills among citizens as a driver to economic emancipation.
Mr Muzyamba said ZEHEST has observed with pride that President Hichilema has been interactive as seen a few days ago during the national media conference at Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
He said the organisation is of the view that President Hichilema’s level of interaction with various players especially the media is unprecedented.
“However, the Head of State should further intervene by ensuring that PACRA issues out cooperative certificates which have been pending since last year,” he said.
Mr Muzyamba alson said that issuing out cooperative certificates on time would allow citizens to apply for Youth Empowerment under CDF and other Empowerment Projects.
