A 26-year-old woman of Kasama has allegedly stabbed her man friend to death with a knife after a dispute.
The incident happened yesterday after the suspect accused the victim of having an affair with another woman.
Northern Province Police Commissioner, Richard Mweene has confirmed the development and has identified the victim as Alick Kamana 40 years.
Mr Mweene said Kamana sustained a deep cut on the left side of the chest after being stabbed with a knife.
He also identified the suspect as Iness Chanda who has since been arrested and charged with murder.
