The Late Major Mwamba who was the husband to Zambia’s Ambassador to Brazil Alfreda Mwamba died in Brasilia after a long illness contrary to earlier reports that he died in Sao Paolo after a short illness.

The late Major Mwamba will be put to rest on 10th October 2020 at Lusaka Memorial Park and  will be preceded by a church service at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Lusaka Nangwenya road, soon after arrival.

The Late Major Mwamba 66, served in the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) until his retirement in 1993 and later pursued other interests.

Major Mwamba leaves behind a wife Dr Kansembe Mwamba, Children, Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren.

Funeral gathering is at Plot 2801 State Lodge area.

The Mwamba family would like to thank Government, relatives and friends for providing both financial and moral support during this trying time.
