Chingola Round Table has once more come to the aid of Chingola Member of Parliament Matthew Nkhuwa to build another 1X2 classroom block at George Mwelwa school.

Matty Investments had started building a 1X2 classroom block with an administration.

The super structure is at roof level and Chingola Round Table in partnership with Siksha Foundation has now taken over from Matty Investments the company owned by Mr Nkhuwa.

Just recently, Mr Nkhuwa and Chingola Round Table had handed over another 1X2 classroom block to the Ministry of Education.

There is another brand new classroom block which was done by Siksha Foundation at the same school located on Chingola Solwezi road bringing the total to four blocks.

George Mwelwa Primary has 456 pupils from Grade 1-7 who were sharing a 1×2 classroom block, thereby making learning unpleasant.

But now the problem has been solved and this latest 1X2 classroom block will have an administration block.

Christopher Sakashi one of the parents who has children at the school said Mr Nkhuwa had responded at the speed of lightening to the plight of the people.

Mr Sakashi said the community is indebted to their Parliamentarian.

Andother parent Bethlehem Mwale who was a community builder for the project said he was impressed with the way their MP had responded to the plight of the pupils.

Mr Nkhuwa said his decongsstion project at George Mwelwa has been successful.

He said he has focused more on building education infrastructure because they mean better future for the country.

Chigayo Community school is another project Matty Investments has undertaken and it is progressing well.
