BANTAMWEIGHT Samson Phiri yesterday knocked out eSwatini’s Gina Mangaliso within a minute in the first round in a quarter-final bout at the AUSC Region Five Games.
The hapless Mangaliso sent doctors panicking as he wailed uncontrollably from Phiri’s blow.
He could not take it anymore and doctors immediately signalled to the referee to stop the fight.
Mangaliso wept as he was escorted out of the ring for further medical attention at a mobile hospital placed out Ditshupo Hall in Gaborone/Zambia Daily Mail.
