Zesco United burst into wild celebrations on Sunday after winning the 2020/21 FAZ Super Division title.

Zesco bagged their ninth championship with three games to spare following a 2-0 home win over Napsa Stars at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

“Of course I am happy. I am happy for the players; I think they deserve a part on the back,” said Zesco coach Mumba Numba.

Numba branded the ending season as tough.

“It has been quiet a very competitive season but we made a difference in the ten games that we were unbeaten,” he said.

Numba promised that Zesco won’t relax in the remaining matches despite winning the league.
