Striker Alex Ng’onga reduced the score-line to 2-1 in the 25th minute to give Nkana some hopes.
Nkwazi took a 2-1 lead into the half time break.
Ng’onga finally equalised for the home side to make it 2-2 after being set up by second half substitute Diamond Chikwekwe on 71 minutes.
