Chingola Member of Parliament Matthew Nkhuwa has donated a set of jerseys to FAZ Copperbelt Division 3 side Mimbula Dynamos.

The donation was received by club representative Edwin Moyo and Mimbula Dynamos Player Floyd Ndunda.

Speaking during the handover, Nkhuwa said football and sports in general keeps youths busy thereby deterring them from engaging in vices.

Nkhuwa, who is also Energy Minister, said football has seen disciplined youths earn huge money.

And Moyo thanked Nkhuwa for the gesture.

Moyo said the donated jerseys will be a motivation to the team.

He also spoke about the team’s logistical challenges when playing away matches.

“At the moment the other challenge we have is transport. We currently book buses to transport players, the furthest distance being Ndola,” Moyo said.
