Chililabombwe Member of Parliament Richard Musukwa says the de-registered National Democratic Congress was a party formed by indiscipline members from the ruling PF.
Making an appeal to Chishimba Kambwili during his community meeting in Kakoso yesterday, Mr Musukwa implored Mr Kambwili the leader of the de-registered NDC, to rejoin the ruling PF.
Mr Musukwa who is also Mines Minister said NDC was formed by indiscipline members from PF namely; Mwenya Musenge and Mr Kambwili.
He said the duo, Mr Musenge and Mr Kambwili should follow the footsteps of another PF prodigal son Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) who had a stint in UPND but has since returned to PF.
‘Our President Edgar Lungu wants us as Members of Parliament to rebuild the party by reconciling with all our former members to PF. The Boat (referring to the PF symbol) never gets full. In Bemba they say ubukulu wankoko masako (the size of the chicken is determined by its feathers). For this reason we want our Chishimba Kambwili back to PF together with Mr Musenge,” he said.
At the same event, several UPND members led by UPND Chililabombwe Constituency Youth Secretary Layson Mayibe defected to the ruling PF.
Speaking after being received, Mr Mayibe he was tired of being forced to oppose the PF when the ruling PF is delivering.
He said the UPND leadership was using him to insult Mr Musukwa but he was tired of oppressing leaders that are delivering.
As he was coming from the Kakoso hall, Mr Musukwa took time to walk on foot to give out PF party regalia to everyone he met and to the aged, he gave them money.
