Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of two PF cadres who were killed in Kanyama Township last week.

Last week two members of the Patriotic Front were grizzly murdered by thugs believed to be United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres.

Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has identified these arrested as Patheu Njekwa, Reuben Nalikena 22 and Mwendabai Namushi 32, all of Kanyama Compound.

Ms Katongo said that they have been jointly charged with the other four earlier arrested for murder.

She said the total number of suspects in the murder case is now 07 and they will appear in court soon.

Ms Katongo said two other suspects (names withheld) who were apprehended in the early hours of today are in police custody awaiting identification.

Investigations in the matter have continued.
