Man attending Zion church camp meeting drowns

A-25-year-old man of Lusaka has drowned after he had gone to swim in the company of  his friends whilst attending Zion Church  international camp meeting.

Deputy Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga confirmed the development in a statement that Benjamin Mwale drowned on 27th April,2019 about 1100 hrs at Tubalange dam in Lusaka west.

Mr Hamoonga said this was after he had gone to swim in the company of Moses Phiri and Allan phiri all of Chawama compound whilst attending a camp meeting which began on April 22 to April 28, 2019.

He said the Body was retrieved with the help of members of the public today April 29th,2019 at around 09:30 hours and has since been deposited to University Teaching Hospital (UTH) mortuary.
