Police in Lusaka have apprehended and detained a-30-year-old-man of George Township for alleged abduction.

Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has identified the suspect as Vincent Mulenga of unknown house number in Lusaka’s George Township who is alleged to have abducted a 13-year old girl November 25, 2021.

Mr Hamoonga said brief facts of the matter are that on the said date the victim’s aunty reported on behalf of her nice that she was abducted by unknown person.

He said on November 30, 2021, a friend to one of the victim led the reporter to the suspect’s house where they later found four female juveniles aged 12,13,14 and 18 in the suspect’s House.

Mr Hamonga said the victims have since been retrieved and  issued with medical report forms and  taken to a safe home while the suspect is detained in police custody.
