Patriotic Front (PF) members from seven constituencies in Lusaka have rebelled against four of their Members of Parliament for plotting to disrupt the planned intra-party elections. 

Leading the group at the Party Secretariat in Lusaka, Munali Constituency Chairperson, Forbes Mufwaya disclosed that Mandevu Member of Parliament Jean Kapata, Chawama Member of Parliament Lawrence Sichalwe, Kabwata MP Given Lubinda and Munali MP Professor Nkandu Luo had been having dark corner meetings at  Mr Lubinda’s residence plotting to disrupt the intra-party  elections.

And PF Secretary General Davies Mwila said the party is premised on democratic tendencies, adding that intra-party elections will go on.
