Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo says he will fix the ‘Welcome to Chingola’ roundabout after road works have been completed.

Mr Tembo told The Independent Observer that the place was looking desolate because even the road around it was a total desolation.

With the roads taking shape, we shall soon move in as a Council and begin managing the roundabout so that we reclaim out lost glory of being the cleanest town in Zambia. We are also thinking of partnering with the business firms of Chingola to adopt the roundabout and control advertising on the place.

“We have had bad publicity on the same roundabout with some media houses calling it the national park for Titus Tembo,” he said.
