‘Drunk Driver’ PF Councilor detained for dangerous driving

A Patriotic Front (PF) Ward Councillor of Mufulira has been detained in Chambishi for dangerous driving.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga has confirmed the detention of Jonathan Ntambu to The Independent Observer.
Ms Katanga said Ntambu who is Mutundu PF Ward Councillor was for drunk and driving.
She said Ntambu was picked from Sabina Check Point drunk while driving a car Reg No. ACJ 300.
“At first he hit into a car that was in front being checked, then he was insulting the officers. He is still in custody and is vehicle parked at my station,” she said.
Mufulira Mayor Gift Mushinge expressed ignorance of the incidence.
