PF Party President and President of Zambia Edgar Lungu has appointed Davies Chama as Deputy National Chairperson for PF Central Committee with immediate effect.

Mr Chama who is also Defence Minister and member of the Central Committee will deputize Samuel Mukupa, MCC.

The President has also appointed Elizabeth Phiri the Minister of Gender as PF Central Committee and takes up the position of Chairperson for Industries with immediate effect.

PF Secretary General Davis Mwila has congratulate the two on their respective appointments.

Mr Mwila has called upon the rank and file of PF membership countrywide to give them optimum support.

“On behalf of the Party, let me thank the Zambian people for the continued support and solidarity even amidst very challenging situations such as the climate change induced electricity load shedding. The challenges on our people have also been aggravated by the disruption to their livelihoods by the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
