A pharmaceutical expert Jerome Kanyika has backed the call by the Ministry of Health to embark on an ambitious initiative to roll out vaccines to patrons of social clubs.
Earlier, Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Technical Services, Dr Lackson Kasonka warned that if numbers of people vaccinated does not reach the target, bars and night clubs risk being shut down.
Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer, Mr Kanyika has applauded the move saying that people should not be afraid to take the vaccines.
He said the vaccines are safe and does not react with the alcohol hence the need to get vaccinated.
