Bwana Mkubwa Member of Parliament Jonas Chanda working with Kafubu Water and Sanitation company has restored water supply to Ndeke market.

Dr Chanda said the water would improving hygiene at the market as it had serious water and sewer challenges for many years.

The MP who is also Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection also donated 50 bags of mealie meal to the 50 marketeers and a cash donations of K5,000.

He has urged all marketeers and their families to register as Voters.

Dr Chanda has also already empowered marketeers at Mushili, Kansengu, Kaloko, Kantolomba, and Kavu markets as well.

All marketeers in the Constituency have also benefited from the Chicken empowerment project under CDF as well as mealie meal distribution.
