Boy beaten by dogs, hand amputated

The-11-year-old boy who was beaten by dogs two days ago has undergone an operation where his left arm was amputated.
The operations took place yesterday February 14, 2023.
The owner of the dogs was released on Police Bond pending court appearance.
The incident happened on February 11, 2023 around 15:00 hours in PHI area in Lusaka.
Police Deputy Spokesperson Danny Mwale said the boy was only rescued by one of the community members who shot and injured one of the dogs.
Mr Mwale said the boy was rushed to Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital.
