 Away games costed us -Mwanza

Nchanga Rangers Head Coach Israel Mwanza says that their poor performance on away games had costed the team not to bounce back to premier league this season.

Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer, Mwanza said the they did not collect maximum points with away games and that made the team not to qualify to super division.

Mwanza said that he has learnt lessons from the just ended season and he will make sure that they prepare adequately for the next season.

“Winning the league is starting to prepare to win the away games, if you can manage to collect points in away games, it indicates that the team is ready to go to super Division,” he said.

He said that he will maintain the current team and includes players who are eager to score especially on the upfront.

Mwanza has promised to work extra hard next season and ensure that the team finishes on the top four and qualify to premier league.

He has called on the club executive, the funs and the community at large to rally behind the team and promised to perform better next season.
