 5 Ndola Diva mafias nabbed for inserting a bottle in woman’s private parts

Copperbelt Police Commissioner Charity Katanga says five people have been arrested for the video circulating on social media where an empty bottle of castle lager was inserted in a woman’s private parts.

Ms Katanga said police received a report of indecent assault from the complainant who complained that five women assaulted her which occurred on December 1, 2018 in Ndola.

She said the victim sustained bruises inside the private parts and general body pains.

“The victim identified the five women as Precious Kapambwe 25. of 6970 Chinese complex, Bridget Chisha 21, of house number 6446 Lubuto West,  Margaret Mwansa 25 years of house number 1028 Overspill, Catherine Banda 29years of Chinese complex and Maureen Mutale 29 of 26 Independence Ave Town center all from Ndola.

“This incident happened when the complainant was drinking beer with Harrison Mwansa the husband to Precious Kapambwe at Start point a drinking place at main Masala Market. The complainant narrated to the police that whilst there the wife of Mr Mwanza showed up in the company of the other named suspects. Mr Mwanza ran away leaving the complainant alone,” she said.

She said Precious Kapambwe and her friends picked the victim by force and took her to her house where she was told to undress.

Ms Katanga said complainant was held with both hands and legs wide open by the four women and the fifth woman inserted an empty bottle in the private parts causing the injuries.

“Police have since visited the scene and recovered two cell phones containing the video and pictures and cloths belonging to the victim. The suspects appeared yesterday in the Magistrate Court before a Honourable Musukwa and are still remanded,” she said.
