12 houses damaged in Kitwe’s Itimpi ward

About 12 houses have been damaged by heavy rains experienced in Kitwe’s Salamano area of Itimpi Ward.
Confirming the development to The Independent Observer in Kitwe, Itimpi ward Councilor Mpasa Mwaya said heavy downpour had also destroyed household property worth thousands of Kwacha.
Ms Mwaya could not give further details about the accident as she was still locked up in a meeting at the council strategizing on the cause of action to take.
Ms Mwaya however expressed grief with the disaster in the area.
